"The parks people!" that's precisely what we want to be known as, said Brett Turner when asked what message he wanted his new website to convey. The challenge we faced at Labyrinth was how to create a site that clearly conveyed their expertise and the range of services they offered, whilst personalising it to really show the human aspect of the company.

Taking a step backwards we realised that the site has two target audiences - clients, and employees. Irrespective of who was coming to the site, the first thing we wanted was to create a great first impression on landing. The design is light and clean with images of happy people truly enjoying the pleasures of the parks built and maintained by Recreational Services, setting an immediate up beat tone.

Under each of the Services sections we've shown the key managers responsible, and we've continued that theme under the Clients section, again showing photos and details of the key staff involved. These are the true face of the company and deserve to be recognised, after all people do business with people at the end of the day.

The site also has an audience of staff and potential staff, so it was important to portray the company culture and what a great place it is to work. Indeed, each staff member even has their own login where they have access to a staff-only area with picture galleries of staff events, staff newsletter etc. It further adds to their sense of involvement.
