Kylie Brooks - Property Brokers
Provincial real Estate is being thrust into the future in Palmerston North with the new responsive window displays creating a unique user experience for customers on the new purpose built building.
The new touchscreens at 240 Broadway Avenue, next to the new LOCAL Café and Eatery, allows visitors to search residential, lifestyle/rural, rental and commercial listings by location, size and price, while enjoying fresh food and coffee sourced from the provinces – further connecting Palmerston North with the region.
The interactive technology allows users to have everything at their fingertips 24/7 and they can define their search, browse listings, send enquiries and email themselves a list of favorites all digitally without using a paper-based system.
All listings will be constantly updated giving viewers the most up-to-date information on properties available at any time. Clients can also request an appraisal if they are looking to sell.
Other features include sound from speakers above the screens so you can watch and hear video content, maps and directions to properties and calculated drive times. The listings are not limited to Palmerston North allowing users to search for a property anywhere within Property Brokers country which spans from the Waikato down to North Otago.
When the screens are not in use by a user, they will be used as display screens to advertise the companies’ current campaigns and promote local community events that they are involved in such as the upcoming production, Chorus Line, in support of the Arohanui Hospice.
The company that developed the technology is Labyrinth Solutions who began developing the interactive software for real estate companies in Auckland last year. “Our Interactive Touch Window is transforming the Real Estate Front Office experience for potential buyers and adds an innovative marketing platform for the vendors.” says Labyrinth Solutions managing director Vaughan Reed. “It’s refreshing to see the level of commitment Property Brokers have to their vendors by investing in customer-focused technology to showcase their properties and deliver a superior experience.” says Reed. “Additional to our Touch Window technology, we are working with Property Brokers to develop dedicated Touchscreens for Sales staff and Property Management – definitely keeping them ahead of the technology curve!”
If the touchscreens prove to be successful in the Manawatu, Property Brokers plan to roll out the same technology in all of its major branch offices in the Hawkes Bay, Wairarapa, Waikato and South Island regions.
