TIP:  (i) Update multiple pages simultaneously - add/manage enquiry form modules via the Template Manager. (ii) See also - Manage Modules.

 

Manage Enquiry Forms in the Editor

1.To add a form - open your webpage in the Editor and add an enquiry form module.
To manage an existing enquiry form - go to step 2.

2.Open the module settings.

3.Update settings and click [OK].

Check box to use the settings managed at template level.

Note: Modules added at page level are not linked to the Template Manager and do show this setting.

 

Form Settings

Select Form

Choose a saved form leave or use fields below to create a new form.

Form Title

Add/edit form title.

This title is copied to the 'Select Form' dropdown above.

Personal Details

Personal Details

Section Name

Add a heading to the personal details fields below - i.e. How can we help?, Your Personal Details, etc (optional).

Display/Required

Check 'Display' tickbox to show predefined 'personal detail' fields.  Check 'Required' to make the field mandatory.

Custom Selectors 1 & 2

Add custom selector fields to your enquiry form (optional):When the Field is closed, you will see an area that is shaded.

1.Set field label

2.Check 'Display' tickbox to show field in form

3.Check 'Required' to make the field mandatory

 

Select a parent group and category to and set list type:

Drop Down List - Tickbox (Unchecked) / Multi (Unchecked)

Multi Select List - Tickbox (Unchecked) / Multi (Checked)

Radio Button List - Tickbox (Checked) / Multi (Unchecked)

Check Box List - Tickbox (Checked) / Multi (Checked)

1.Set field label

Comments

Add a custom memo box to your form (optional):

1.Set field label or leave blank to use default 'Comments' label

2.Check 'Display' tickbox to show field in form

3.Check 'Required' to make the field mandatory

How did you find us

Add a 'How Did You Find Us' drop down to your form (optional).

 

TIP:  To add dropdown options - go to Contegro Start > Administration > Lists and select Values.  Select 'How Did You Find Us?' in the Group dropdown and add as many options as required (e.g. Google Search, Referral, etc).

Future Info

Add a "Tick to receive future info" tickbox to your form (optional).

Show Captcha

Add a Captcha control to your form (optional).

The captcha control helps prevent automated spamming.

Confirmation Message

Add a confirmation message which is displayed when the form is successfully submitted or leave blank and set a redirection page below (optional).

 

TIP:  The confirmation message can include the following four variables to control variable (dynamic) information. These values are case sensitive and must be entered exactly as shown: 
[FIRST_NAME]
[LAST_NAME]
[COMPANY_NAME]
[EMAIL_ADDRESS]
Example: Thank you [FIRST_NAME], your enquiry has been submitted successfully.
 
Here are some basic HTML tags for use in the confirmation message.  Replace content between the opening and closing tags.
<strong>Bold Tag</strong>
<em>Italics Tag</em>
<u>Underline Tag</u>
<h1>Heading 1 Tag</h1>
<h2>Heading 2 Tag</h2>
 
Press Enter or Return to create a new paragraph.  You do not need to include a break tag <br />.

Redirection Page

Set an internal page as the redirect when the form is successfully submitted (optional).

 

Note: Check 'Auto Redirect' box below to automatically redirect to the selected page. If unticked, a 'Continue' link will replace the form when submitted. For example:
Thank you Sam, your enquiry has been submitted successfully.

Auto Redirect

Check this box to automatically redirect users to the redirection page (set above) when the form is submitted (optional).

Registration Recipient

Add one or more email addresses (comma delimited).

Each email address will be notified of any new enquiries.

Registration Sender Email

Set the sender email address (optional).
This address is in the confirmation email sent to the site user. See Send Confirmation' setting below..

 

Note: If no address is set, the webmaster email address will be used.

Registration Sender Name

Add a sender name (optional).

This name is entered in the 'From' field in the confirmation email sent to the site user. See Send Confirmation' setting below.

 

Note: If no name is set, the webmaster name will be used.

Subject

Set the email subject.
The subject is used in the confirmation email sent to the site user. See Send Confirmation' setting below.

Message

Add a custom email message.

The message is used in the confirmation email sent to the site user. See Send Confirmation' setting below.

Send Confirmation

Check this box to send an automated email to anyone who submits the online form.

 

TIP: Add the 'Email Address' field to the personal details section (above). This email is used to send the confirmation message.

 

4.Click [Publish] to update your site.
