Favicon

A favicon is a custom icon typically displayed in the address bar of a browser. A favicon may also be displayed when referenced as a bookmark, on the tabs in tabbed browsers, and/or the icon on your desktop or other folders.

In order to display a favicon, you first need to create an '.ico' file using an image such as your company or product logo. There are many online conversion tools available which allow you to upload an image (such as JPG or GIF) and convert it to an '.ico' file.

Key Info: In order for the Favicon to display successfully in your browser, the .ico file must be named 'favicon.ico'
If you have not done so already, you will need to add the 'ico' file extension to your site settings.
Custom icons can be uploaded to microsites. Ensure that you upload a separate 'favicon.ico' file to each site's '_Icons' folder.

This section explains the task of adding a favicon to your site:

1.Go to Contegro Start > Content > Files and select Images.
