Manage Gift Registry 'Create/Edit' Form Fields

Contegro understands that you may require custom fields (to capture additional information from your registry owners) in addition to the default fields such as Name, Email, Address, etc.


Site administrators can construct and integrate additional fields, using the simple drag-n-drop interface.


Note: You may need a minimum of Administrator permissions to manage settings for the Gift Registry add-on module.


This section explains the task of managing the form fields in the Events Calendar Fields.


1.Go to Contegro Start > Add-On Modules > Gift Registry and select Fields.

2.By default, the 'Create/Edit' registry form includes many useful fields for capturing relevant data. Use drag-and-drop to move default fields within or to another container.

3.To edit default fields, click on the [Down] arrow and update the properties as required.

Note: Default form fields cannot be deleted and the Field ID cannot be changed.


3.To add custom fields, drag elements from the Drag & Drop Fields panel into one or more containers.  Set the field element properties as required and click [Save].

Note: All elements are added to the bottom when first dropped into the container.  You can use the element control bar functions to carry out the following:
Drag Me - This is the drag and drop selector, which allows you to reposition a container (including elements) above or below another container, reposition elements within a container and/or move elements from one container to another.
Delete - Click on the 'X' icon to delete an element.
Expand/Minimize - Show/hide the element properties by clicking on the up or down arrow.
