A link to an internal document is a hyperlink from your page to one of your internal business documents (ie: PDF brochure, product price list (excel, word, PDF), enrolment form, questionnaire, etc...
Note: This task is based on the assumption that the document has been uploaded into Contegro's Document Manager.
This section explains the task of creating document links using text or images in the Content module:
1.Open the page you wish to edit in the Page Editor panel.
2.Locate the Content module and select the [Edit Content] button to open the Content Editor.
3.Select the text or image that you want to set as a hyperlink and click the [Hyperlink Manager] button .
4.Within the Hyperlink Manager pop up, click the [Document Link] button [PICTURE DocumentLink.gif] and select a document in the Document Selector pop up. The Tooltip field is auto-populated with the title of the selected document.
Key Info: If the Hyperlink Manager does not work correctly, you may need to add your site to your Trusted Sites list within your browser’s settings. See Setting up a trusted site.
Note: Linked documents with set member permissions display a custom pop up message if a public site user selects the document hyperlink. The custom 'Insufficient Permissions' warning message is managed in the site settings.
5.Click [OK] to close the Hyperlink Manager pop up.
6.When all editing changes are complete, click Save to save changes or Publish to update the live site.
Key Info: Step 6 refers to the one person workflow scenario. If your site uses the two person or three person workflow scenario, the Publish button will not be displayed until submitted changes have been approved. Refer to Workflow Scenarios for more information.
Tip: Test the link on the live site to ensure that the settings are correct.
