Follow the steps below to configure the standard 6 page booking process using all of the Vehicle Booking modules:
Design Tip: If your site contains multiple instances of the Vehicle Booking module, site administrators have the option of creating a specific template and managing each module at template level.
Note: Refer to the site map and web design for details on the correct page label, module placement, etc.
1.Create a 'Vehicle Booking' page in the Editor, add the Vehicle Booking Dates and Vehicle Booking Travel Wallet modules, then:
a.Open the Vehicle Booking Dates module settings and update as required.
2.Create a hidden 'Vehicles' page and add a Vehicle Booking Vehicle Selection and Vehicle Booking Travel Wallet module.
3.Create a hidden 'Extras' page and add a Vehicle Booking Extras and Vehicle Booking Travel Wallet module.
4.Create a hidden 'Insurance' page and add a Vehicle Booking Insurance and Vehicle Booking Travel Wallet module.
5.Create a hidden 'Customer Details/Payment' page and add a Vehicle Booking Payment and Vehicle Booking Travel Wallet module.
6.Create a hidden 'Confirmation' page and add a Vehicle Booking Payment module.
Tip: To hide a page, disable the 'Show on Menu' tickbox in the Attributes pane.
Optional page setup:
7.Create one or more package details page and add the Vehicle Booking Travel Dates module. Return to this page and pre-set the relevant package (once you added the package details in the Packages tab within the Vehicle Booking Manager).
8.Create a 'Terms and Conditions' page (to set as the target page in the Vehicle Booking Confirmation global module settings).
9.Create a 'Help' page (to set as the target page in the Vehicle Booking Travel Wallet global module settings.
10.Create one or more landing pages and add the Vehicle Booking Partner module (which captures the partner code supplied within the URL).
Tip: Use the Vehicle Booking Partners Manager to create commission-based incentives for advertising or partnering with associated activities.
