Use the 'Include in Search' tickbox fields to include/exclude indexed module content when a site search is carried out by site users:
•HTML Content - If enabled, pages will be included in the search.
•Document Manager - If enabled, documents will be included in the search.
•Blog Comment - If enabled, blog comments will be included in the search.
•Blog Topic - If enabled, blog topics will be included in the search.
•Blog Discussion - If enabled, blog discussions will be included in the search.
•Product Catalogue - If enabled, products will be included in the search.
•Events Calendar - If enabled, events will be included in the search.
•Store Locator - If enabled, stores will be included in the search.
•Image Gallery - If enabled, images will be included in the search.
•Document Library - If enabled, documents will be included in the search.
•Podcast - If enabled, podcasts will be included in the search.
To add category filters, click [Expand] and alongside the HTML Content, Product Catalogue, Events Calendar, Image Gallery and Document Library tickboxes:
•Starting Category - Use this field to set the starting category. Select a single category to limit search results or leave as 'Root Level' to search in all content categories.
Key Info: The Full Text Search (FTS) function will trawl through all pages associated to the selected category and any sub-categories. Any pages not currently associated to a content category will not be returned in the search results.
•Advanced Search - Select from one of the following display options and label for the 'Advanced Search' filter field:
oDisabled - Select this option to hide the category filter field in the Search form. Site users will only see results relating to the selected category in the 'Starting Category' field
oCategory Tree - Select this option to display a category tree in the search form
oDrop Down Filters - Select this option to display a separate dropdown list for each selected category in the search form. This setting will override 'Starting Category' field setting
Tip: Select top level categories to display as separate drop down lists.
oLabel - Use this field to add a heading above or alongside the Category Tree or Dropdown filters (see above).
•Image Orientation (Image Gallery only) - Toggle tickbox to show/hide the image orientation filters (to locate all, landscape, portrait and or square images).
