Use this module to add a menu to your site.  We recommend using the Template Manager to update the navigation globally.

Manage Navigation via the Editor

1.To add a menu - open your web page in the Editor and add a Navigation module.
To manage an existing menu - go to step 2.

2.Open the module settings.

3.Update settings and click [OK].

Use Template Settings

Check box to use the settings managed at template level.

Note: Modules added at page level are not linked to the Template Manager and do not show this setting.

Custom Title

Add a custom title (optional).

 

TIP: Enter %PARENT% in this field to automatically display the 'parent' menu label above the navigation links.  This setting is ideal when displaying Sub Navigation or Selected Parent navigation on your site.

CSS Class Name

Add DIV classes for styling purposes (optional).

Display Style

Choose your preferred menu style:

Slide Menu - Display your menu items in a slide out/down menu.
The 'Number of Levels to Show' field below must be set to 2 or greater in order for child pages to show. Alternatively, set the number of levels to show field to zero to show all levels.

Static - Display your menu items as a static menu.
Child pages will not show until the parent is selected.

Dropdown List - Select this option to display your menu items in a dropdown (ideal for responsive/mobile sites).

Direction

Set the direction of the menu to horizontal or vertical.

Menu Type

Set the menu type:

Primary/Sub Navigation - Display top level or child pages only (according to the pages in the site tree).

oStart Level - Set the opening level of navigation.
e.g. enter '1' for the primary menu or '2' for a sub (or child) menu.

Selected Parent - Display all child pages related to the selected parent (ideal for footer links to a specific section).

oSelect Start Item - Click the dotted button [...] to select the start/parent.
The Navigation module will display all child pages associated to the selected start item.

Unique Navigation - Choose one or more pages to show in the menu (ideal for providing quick links to commonly visited areas in your site header and/or footer).

oSelect Custom Items - Select items to display in the Unique Navigation.
The 'Show on Menu' setting in the page Attributes tab is overridden when page and/or menu items are selected in this field. Drag pages to reorder.

Clickable Depth

Set a limit to how many child menu levels the user can drill down to.

TIP: Enter '0' to allow site users to view and open all levels.

to Show

Set the number of child menu levels to show automatically when a parent page is selected in the menu.

Check this box to display pages in a mega menu.

4.Click [Publish] to update your site.
