Page List

Core Modules > Page List

 

The Page List module is a dynamic list of links to pages within your site (e.g. News, Services, Competitions, Case Studies, Team Profiles, etc).  See also - Category List.

Design Tip: The look and feel of your Page Lists will compliment your site design. Many design/style combinations can be achieved using CSS.

 

1.To add a list - open your web page in the Editor and add a Page List module.
To manage an existing list - go to step 2.

TIP: Update multiple pages simultaneously by adding/editing page list module settings via the Template Manager.

 

2.Open the module settings.

3.Update settings and click [OK].

Use Template Settings

Enable 'Use Template Settings' tickbox to use default template settings for this page list.  If you wish to create a custom  page list for this module instance, please disable tickbox and complete fields below.

Custom Title

Add a custom title (e.g. Helpful Links, etc) (Optional).

Heading tag - For Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) best practice, select a heading tag for the title.

Items to Display

Select the item details you want to show in the list (i.e. title, summary, image etc)

Click [Please Select] to manage settings. Click [OK] to apply changes.

Display - Toggle the 'Display' to show/hide items in the list.

Group - Add a DIV class for styling purposes.

Drag Me - Drag-and-drop to set the order. To move multiple items, use the CTRL button to select multiple items and drag all items to a new position.

 

NOTE: Item content is managed in the List Settings tab within the Attributes panel.

Thumbnail Width & Height

Set the maximum thumbnail width and height in pixels.

 

NOTE: If either field is blank when the settings are saved, the default settings in the category list global module settings will be used.

Summary Char. Limit

Set the max. no of characters for the summary.

Summary Link Text

Set the link text displayed at the end of item (or page) summary (e.g. More»», Read More >, etc).

Member Pages

Check this box to show member only pages in the list.

 

Note:  This option does not give public viewers access to member pages.  When member only page links are selected, site users will be redirected to the login page, once logged in they are automatically directed to the page.

Selected items

This field displays a list of pages that have been selected for this list.  Use the [Add] and [Remove] buttons to manage the list items.

 

4.Click [Publish] to update your site.
