Working with variables

The following variables can be used within the Content Editor to control variable (dynamic) information such as the name or email address of a site member who has logged in to the site.

 

An example of where this could be used is a welcome message within a members only page, i.e. Hi [USER_FIRST_NAME] [USER_LAST_NAME] would show the logged in members First Name and Last Name.

The following variables can be set within the Content Editor:

 

Variable

Description

[USER_FIRST_NAME]

This is the members first name as entered in the Member Account Manager.

[USER_LAST_NAME]

This is the members last name as entered in the Member Account Manager.

[USER_LOGIN_NAME]

This is the members login name (by default this is their email address) as entered in the Member Account Manager.

[USER_EMAIL_ADDRESS]

This is the members email address as entered in the Member Account Manager.

[USER_PASSWORD]

This is the members password as entered in the Member Account Manager.

[SITE_DESCRIPTION]

This is the description of the website as entered in the site System Settings section.

[SITE_NAME]

This is the name of the website as entered in the site System Settings section.

[SITE_ADDRESS]

This is the website address (URL) of the website as entered in the site System Settings section.

[SITE_WEB_MASTER_EMAIL]

This is the Web Masters email address as entered in the site System Settings section.

[SITE_WEB_MASTER_NAME]

This is the Web Masters Name as entered in the site System Settings section.
