Winscribe is the largest supplier of digital dictation technology in the world with installations in 25 countries and more than 350,000 users globally, mainly in Legal, Law Enforcement, Healthcare, Transcription, Surveying, Insurance and Government sectors.
Winscribe approached us early in 2010 to help them with their online marketing, starting with a new, more effective website. The reason for the new website was to reposition the company slightly, and whilst keeping its traditional focus on digital dictation very much alive, open up new avenues with the release of its brand new Business Process Management (BPM) software.
Although developed initially with the existing verticals in mind, the BPM software is aimed at new decision makers, and some new industry sectors too. The site therefore needed a dramatic overhaul in order to address the issue of at least two distinct target audiences.
One of the key aims of the project, as defined to us by Winscribe was to ‘Humanise’ the company and its offerings and to ‘demistify’ work flow and BPM for the target audience.
In addition, because of the target audience, the site also needed to project a strong corporate image, yet be user friendly and engaging – allowing the audience to directly interact should it wish.
The site’s launch coincided with the launch of the BPM product and with Labyrinth’s ongoing assistance, both Winscribe and Labyrinth are confident that the new product will be even more successful than the digital dictation, allowing Winscribe to continue driving New Zealands export growth.
